Category: Tehran Province

Tehran province reaches the Alborz Mountains from the north and the plains of Iran from the south. The capital of a country and a densely populated city inhabited by diverse ethnic groups. The history of Tehran is intertwined with Ray. Tehran was a small village in north of Rey. Ray was also large city centuries ago and a political, religious and commercial center. Tehran has been an immigrant city for many years. Persians, Azeris, Mazenis, Kurds, Gilakis and other ethnicities from all over the country make up the population of Tehran. In the past, the people of Tehran had their own dialect, which is known as the Tehrani dialect, and over time, the use of this dialect has diminished. Tehrani dialect is one of the dialects of Persian language that has no different word and its difference is in grammar. This province is adjacent to Mazandaran from the north, Qom from the south, Semnan from the east and Alborz from the west. The existence of Alborz mountain range, Qom deserts, Qazvin plain and Semnan deserts have each had a different impact on the climate of this province and have caused the formation of different climates in it; The high altitudes of the province experience long winters, the foothills have humid and cold climates, and the slopes experience short winters and long, hot summers.During the spring holidays, when Tehranians travel to other cities, travelers from other cities come to visit Tehran alone and visit the palaces, museums and promenades around the city. Tehran province has 16 cities, which are: Tehran, Shahriyar, Islamshahr, Baharestan, Mallard, Pakdasht, Rey, Quds, Robat Karim, Varamin, Qarchak, Pardis, Damavand, Pishva, Shemiranat and Firoozkooh.
