When Cyrus the Great captured Babylon and rescued the Jews from the captivity of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. Some of Jews returned to Palestine and some of them came to Isfahan, and the area was renamed Judea.

During the Sassanid era, this place was the center of the army. Troops from the southern regions of Iran, such as Fars, Khuzestan, Sistan, etc., gathered in this area and moved towards the battlefield.
Throughout the history of Isfahan has been consistently of great importance, Isfahan was located in the center of the Iranian plateau. In the pre-Islamic period, Isfahan was the western territory of these empires for the Achaemenid to Sassanid kings, and this city was the focus of these dynasties.

Isfahan, due to the existence of the Zayandeh River and its suitable natural conditions, has probably witnessed the formation of many settlements since the second half of the 4th millennium BC.
In 319 AH, Mardavij Ziari with his army from Gilan, liberated Isfahan and chose this city as his capital and established the celebration of the century in this city with great glory. In 327 AH, this city fell to Rokna al-Dawla Dailami, who also made Isfahan his capital. After that, the city of Isfahan regained its former development and became the center of many scientists.

In 1006 AH, Shah Abbas Safavid moved capital Safavid from Qazvin to Isfahan. Distance from the borders, reduction of Ghezelbashan power, improvement of trade and Shah Abbas’ fear of the predictions of astronomers who considered his stay in Qazvin dangerous for his life are other reasons mentioned for transfer capital. The choice of this city as the capital by Shah Abbas brought positive results for Isfahan. Many mosques, reservoirs and caravanserais were built in Isfahan. At the initiative of Sheikh Baha’i, complete communication and irrigation networks emerged, and with establishment of the commercial city of Najafabad, in west of Isfahan, to provide food for the capital, a solid agricultural infrastructure emerged for the new capital.
Isfahan was superior to all cities in the East during the reign of Shah Abbas I until the death of Shah Abbas II. At that time, with the addition of four neighborhoods (Abbasabad, Jolfa, Gabrabad and Isfahan), the view of the Safavid capital was even larger than that of Constantinople. At the height glory of Isfahan, this city had 137 palaces, 162 mosques, 48 schools, 273 baths and 12 cemeteries.

Current Isfahan is located 435 km south of Tehran. Its urban area is divided into fifteen urban areas and leads from the west of the city (Khandaj Street) connected to Khomeini Shahr, from the south to Falavarjan, from the north to the city of Shahinshahr and from the east to the Sajzi plain.
This city is located in an area at the foot of the Zagros Mountains and next to Zayandeh Rood that originates from the Zagros Mountains of Iran and flows into the Gavkhoni swamp. This place is considered one of the tourists, cultural and economic centers of Iran. Zayandeh rood, the largest river in the central plateau of Iran, originates from the Zagros Mountains of Iran located in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province and passes through Isfahan. Nazhvan forest is also one of the pleasant climatic regions of Zayandehrood. Other natural areas to explore in Isfahan include Kolah Ghazi Mountain and Safa Mountain. Kolah Ghazi area is a national park called Kolah Ghazi National Park that is home to many animals such as wolves, deer, goats, deer and eagles.

The people of this city speak Persian with Isfahani accent. One of the characteristics of a beautiful accent is the pronunciation of words. Immigrants to Isfahan have different dialects and the Armenians of this city also speak Armenian. Every day and formal conversations of the city are all in Persian.
Islam is the main religion of the people of this city and in addition, Armenians, Jews and Zoroastrians live in the city. Julfa, located in the south of Isfahan, is a region that is mostly Armenian and is considered one of the good areas of the city.

this city  is full of artistic and historical works such as Naghsh Jahan Square, Shah Mosque, 33 bridges, Khajoo Bridge, Marnan Bridge, Isfahan Grand Mosque, Seyed Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Janban Minaret, Pigeon House Tower, Chaharbagh Abbasi Pass, Atiq Square, Chehelston Palace, Isfahan Fire House, Aliaqapo Palace, Hasht Behesht Palace, Vank Church, Aligoli Agha Bath, Chaharbagh School and Abbasi Hotel are among the most prominent ones.
Places of entertainment

Isfahan Dream Amusement Park as an annual amusement park hosts a number of tourists. Isfahan City Center Welfare Center is the most famous commercial welfare tourism center of this city. Soffeh Forest Park at the foot of Soffeh Mountain is one of the forest parks with facilities such as cinema, bowling, cable cars, amusement park, etc. Nazhvan Forest Park is one of the most famous forest parks in Isfahan that has facilities such as a bird garden. It has reptiles, butterflies, aquariums and dolphinariums. Absar Park is the largest water complex in Sepahanshahr. Also, the roof of Isfahan is located in the northwest of this city, the roof of this city. Isfahan Aquarium was opened in Nazhvan Forest Park as the first aquarium tunnel in Iran in Nowruz 2016 and there are all kinds of fish and aquatic animals.

Abyaneh is a village in the central part of Natanz, one of the functions of Isfahan province. The village is located in the foothills of the Vulture Mountains. Abyaneh is located at an altitude of 2222 meters above sea level. The nature of Abyaneh village is very pleasant and temperate. Abyaneh is said to be one of the highest residential areas in Iran. The combination of desert and mountains in Abyaneh has created a pristine and beautiful landscape that makes this village different from other villages in Iran. The colorful architecture of Abyaneh houses, along with the traditional clothing of the locals, has caused many tourists to visit this village every year. Since Abyaneh is a high village, the winter of this village is very beautiful. Watch the view of this beautiful village under the heavy snow of winter. Also Abyaneh rose-picking season is excellent.

Isfahan handicrafts are very diverse including inlaying, enameling, bedding, pen making, tiling, coppersmithing, inlay work, pottery, engraving, miniature, carpet weaving, velvet weaving, engraving, turquoise.

Itinerary

Day 1
Isfahan

Today our tour starts with the Naqsh-e-Jahan square which is second biggest square in the world. Sheikh Lotfollah and Imam Mosques, and Aliqapu Palace three place was built with order of Shah Abbas the Great. By writing cannot described the glory of Naqsh-e-Jahan square. we go to visit Chehel Sutoon which the beautiful image of this palace will remain in the mind for a long time. Day 2
Isfahan

Jame mosque is the first place we go to visit in morning. Architects believe this site like a tube of time. During the time by order of kings many Structure added to the main mosque with wonderful design. Next we will visit Vank Cathedral. The cathedral was established in 1606, dedicated to the hundreds of thousands of Armenian deportees that were resettled by Shah Abbas I. In the afternoon we go to visit Monar Jonban

Isfahan

Today we go to see the beautiful village of Torogh then we go to visit the city of Natanz and finally we visit the historical village of Abyaneh.
