Sassanid Palace in Sarvestan 
The main facade of the building is located on the south side, which includes a central porch and two smaller porches on both sides. The central porch connects to the main hall and then to the four courtyards, and the south wall of the central hall leads to an external side porch. The porch on the north side of the palace is connected to the outside of the palace by a few steps, but the large east porch is connected to the central hall and other parts of the building, and on both sides of the building there are two narrow rooms with rocking arches that are not facing each other. The use of filpush to place the domes on the building is clearly seen.

In addition to this method, the use of columns as a roof protector in rooms is seen to strengthen the circular domes. Also, the hills and the unevenness of the adjacent lands indicate the buildings that were around the foundation palace. totaly, the map of  Sarvestan Palace shows a very original and interesting style of Sassanid architecture. Some scholars of Sassanid architecture, due to the more advanced technique in the general design and details of the building, consider it to belong to the late Sassanid era and believe that the construction of this building was one of the first steps towards a special building style that Gothic architecture can be considered the final realization .
