Iran desert

Iran desert , Nearly a quarter of the vast country of Iran is formed by desert areas. Kavir Namak, Chaleh Kavir, Central Kavir or Dasht Kavir with 800 km length and 6000 km width is one of the largest salt fields in the world. As mentioned, it is more than 800 km long and nearly 600 km wide. Desert Namak can be considered the widest desert in Iran, that starts from the southern slope of Alborz mountain range and extends to the center of Iran. In the heart of this desert are deserts and protected areas such as Marvas, Damghan and Khartouran. To the west of the desert is a salt desert which is one of the thermal poles of the planet. The temperature of the region reaches more than 50 degrees Celsius in summer and it has been observed that the temperature difference between day and night is 70 degrees Celsius. Most of it is covered with large swamps and is scattered on the edge of sand dunes and high altitudes, and its vegetation is mainly saline plants (halophyte). The average height of the desert plain from the surface of the open waters of the world is about 700 meters. Its lowest point, that is located in the central part of the plain, is 650 meters, and its highest point, north of Namak Khor and Biyabank, is about 838 meters high. One of the most beautiful areas of this desert can be mentioned.

Anarak is one of the cities of Isfahan, that is located 75 km northeast of Isfahan. Pomegranate means small pomegranate and is probably named after the pomegranate orchards that surround the city. This city dates back to the time of Shah Abbas I and its founder was Mohammad Pahlavan. There are three ancient castles in this city, one of that is located on the main mountain. Next to this castle, there are springs that have created houses around this spring. The people of this ancient city are engaged in mining and agriculture. Among the old works of this city, we can also mention animal husbandry and carpet weaving.

In the northeast of Isfahan province, on the edge of the central desert, there is a small city and a desert called Jandagh. This city, that is more than a thousand years old, was called Gandak, Gandeh and Kandak in ancient times. The word Jandagh consists of two words, junb and daq, meaning near the desert. This city has been a resting place for travelers along the Silk Road like a desert port. Jandagh has a hot and dry desert climate and its agricultural products include saffron, wheat, barley, cereals, vegetables, pomegranates, grapes and livestock fodder. The occupation of most of the people of this city is agriculture and animal husbandry. Jandagh has antiquities such as Gonbad Hashtar, Jandagh Grand Mosque, Khaneghah, Anoushirvan Adel Castle, Sefeh Nizgah. The pristine and special nature of Jandagh is full of wonders. Jandagh waterfall is a surprising attraction in this scorching plain. An artificial waterfall built by digging an aqueduct and creating an invigorating atmosphere with an underground restaurant. One of the important attractions of Jandagh is Anoushirvan Adel Castle, a unique monument and the only residential castle in Iran. The language of the people of this land is Persian.

Righ Jan is a desert region in the central desert of Iran. This is an unknown area, also known as the Bermuda Triangle of Iran. Rig Jan desert is located along the west to the southwest of Kavir plain and from north to south of Semnan and southeast of Garmsar, from the west to Kavir and Tang-e-Zalmat national park and also from the east to Jandagh-Moallem communication axis and finally from the south. It extends to the north of Anarak and the shepherds. The area of sand dunes between these areas reaches 3800 square kilometers. This beautiful and unique desert attracts many tourists every year.

Garmeh village is one of the sights of Khor and is located in the east of Isfahan province of Nain, Khor and Biabank functions and in the central desert of Iran. This beautiful and spectacular village has countless attractions that have attracted many tourists from most parts of the world to see these attractions. Garmeh is several thousand years old, its mineral water spring has been boiling from the heart of the mountain for thousands of years, around Garmeh there are deserts and fields where camel herds are marching in every corner. It’s spectacular when they dance to the wind as much as you love to sit and watch them. The warm houses, built in a row on the thorny hills overlooking the grove, are still one of those simple sights that, while simple, fascinate one. The Garmeh people speak the Pahlavi language, which is the most original and oldest language of the Iranians. This village has a very pleasant climate in spring, autumn and winter.
