Among the sights of khatoon tour can be mentioned:

Kandovan is one of the most amazing rock villages in Iran and the world, that is located in the heart of Kaleh Ghandi rocks and is also known as Kaleh Ghandi village. This summer and historical village is located at the foot of the Sahand volcanic mountain and next to the Kandovan river. The mountainous nature of the region has created streams in the sloping areas that move towards the valley and form the primary tributaries of this river. There are beautiful green pastures around this village that attract many nomads. All over the east of the valley are mountain willow, walnut, elm and almond trees. The characteristic feature of Kandovan is its rocky architecture and rural houses, that have been created by digging the stones of Kale Ghandi, known as Karan. These sugar cane rocks have been created as a result of volcanic interactions in the Sahand Mountains. Volcanic molten masses and lava have been formed by wind, snow and rain over thousands of years and have formed such a boundary landscape, and such an amazing landscape has been created in one of the most temperate parts of Iran. Kandovan village was registered in the list of national heritage in May 1997. Another feature of this village, which has made it famous among the world-famous rock villages such as “Gurmeh” in Turkey and “Dakota” in the United States, is the flow of life in it. While these villages are deserted and uninhabited; the people of Kandovan still live in stone houses that have been dug into the rocks as in the past, which is why Kandovan is one of the living examples of rock architecture and inhabited by the world.
