Naz Islands is one of the most important sights in Qeshm and to see it you have to wait for the sea tide and the water to go down. Geoparks are places with interesting geological phenomena that may have historical, ecological, archeological, cultural and other natural heritage in addition to geological phenomena. Qeshm Island Geopark is the first and only Middle East Geopark that was registered in UNESCO in 2006 in the Global Geoparks Network (GGN). After China, Malaysia, Korea, Japan and Vietnam, Iran is the sixth Asian country to have a Geopark.

Qeshm Geopark has 25 geosites, among that are the Valley of Stars, Korkurakuh, Bam Qeshm, Valley of Statues, Salt Valley, Chahkouh Gorge, Namakdan, Karyan, Geopark Museum, Mudflats, Karag Beach, Ghazi Valley, Oli Gorge, Basira, He pointed out Chakvir, Naz Islands, Geo Link, Basaidu, Derestan Bay, Mangrove Forest, Turtle Nesting Beach, Crab Rock, Laft Village, Khorbes Cave, Du Kohk Bird Wetland and Chahkoh Gorge. During low tide, a few rocks on the Beach of Naz Island are connected to Qeshm Island by a strip of shining sand.

Naz Islands consists of two islands. The area of ​​these two islands, that do not have a sandy beach, is approximately three hectares. Naz islands are surrounded by rocky walls; Walls that are five to 10 meters high. During low tide, some rocks on the Beach of Naz Island are connected to Qeshm Island by a strip of shining sand. A phenomenon that will surprise every tourist. This one-kilometer strait is called Tambulo, and after traveling through it, tourists will reach Naz Islands with an area of ​​about 30,000 square meters; A flat place where roaring waves hit the rocks and offers a different and memorable view of the Persian Gulf to the viewer.

Local people call Naz islands “Do Kardah”; that is, where half of the day is connected to the land and half of the day is in the water. The inhabitants of the island have chosen the name “Naz” because of the behavior they have seen from this island. When the sea level rises, Naz islands can only be seen from Qeshm beach; But when the water level goes down, a relatively narrow path opens between these two islands; A path that can be traveled on foot. In fact, the two islands of Qeshm and Naz are constantly connected to the coast and separated again; This is exactly why these islands are called Naz; It is as if the sea is condemned to pull these small islands near the coast every day.

Walking in the waters of the Persian Gulf is a unique experience that will be etched in your mind forever. The depth of the water during low tide does not even reach your ankles, and you can walk on the fine and wet sand of the beach to reach the cute islands without worrying about getting wet. The sand that slides under your feet and evokes a different feeling in you. Here, surrounded by the azure waters of the Persian Gulf, you will feel a cool breeze on your cheeks and the dream of walking on water will come true.

Photographing beautiful landscapes is another pastime that tourists love. Of course, taking panoramic photos and selfies should not be allowed to disturb the pleasure of watching this amazing and magical attraction. On the walking route from Qeshm Island to Naz Islands, stop for a few moments, close your eyes, listen to the sound of the water hitting the rocks and take a deep breath so that the pleasant sea air penetrates deep into your lungs. Qeshm Island has a very hot and humid climate. The average temperature of this island in the hottest time of the year, i.e. from early July to early August, is 34 degrees Celsius and increases to 38 degrees Celsius. The heat and humidity are so high in Qeshm during the summer season that non-natives cannot bear it even for a few minutes. The average temperature of the coldest time of the year from the beginning of January to the beginning of February is 18.5 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is 13.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 23 degrees Celsius.

Qeshm is the largest island in Iran with an area of ​​1,491 square kilometers, and there are many attractions to visit; so, you should spend at least a few days to visit the sights of Qeshm; Sights that are located on one side of the island.
