Aghazadeh House in Abarkooh is one of the beautiful and historical complexes in Abarkooh city in Yazd province. This house has the most beautiful two-storey Windcatcher in Iran and this is one of the reasons why this house is so important. These wind deflectors are so important which you can see their image on 2000 Toman banknotes. This historical complex has 5 houses with the names of Hosseini Doost, Mousavi, Gabri, Seyed Ali Agha and Aghazadeh; All these houses are located in an alley and today each of them has its own uses and somehow hosts its visitors. If we want to say a little about the architecture of Aghazadeh’s house in Abarkooh, it is said that this house is a two-story building and like other houses in this complex, local materials such as clay and brick were used. In addition to decorating the house, doors and windows are made of wood and gypsum mortar is used for plastering.
The entrance of the building is located on the northwest side of the house and has a way to the corner of the yard through a corridor.
