Nojian waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls in Lorestan and is one of the best places to visit in Khorram Abad.

Nojian waterfall is full of water in the rainy season and its width is greater and its width decreases in dry seasons. It is because of this change in the shape of the waterfall that the ancients named it “Nojian” which means “living water”.

Watching a tall and beautiful waterfall in the heart of nature is very heartwarming. Especially if you have traveled a long way to reach it, then hearing the dance of the rock and water play will take your tiredness out of your body.

The water of this waterfall is supplied from upstream springs. On the right side of Nojian waterfall, there is a small river, the water of which is supplied from many springs in the same area. These waters continue to flow into Caesar River. The water of the rivers in this area is suitable for breeding cold water fish such as trout, and there are fish breeding ponds in the areas below the waterfall.

One of the things that Nojian waterfall is famous for is the presence of medicinal plants around the waterfall and on top of Mount Taff, which makes many people travel to this area just for this reason. Those who travel to this waterfall can also visit the Nojian forest promenade, which is located on top of Mount Taff.

The best time to travel to this area is spring and summer. Because the water of this waterfall is supplied from the natural springs upstream and for this reason it is fuller in the spring.
