Nasir Al Mulk Mosque or Pink Mosque is one of the old mosques in Shiraz. This mosque is located in Good Arab neighborhood, which was formerly known as Ishaq Bey neighborhood, located in the south of Lotfali Khan Khan Zand Street, near Shahcheragh and Nasir Al-Molk Alley. Mirza Hassan Ali Khan, nicknamed Nasir al Mulk, son of Mirza Ali Akbar, the influential factors of the ruler of Persia, built the mosque in 1294 AH. AH began and on 1305 AH. Finish that it was built by Mirza Mohammad Hassan and Mohammad Reza. This work was registered as one of the national works of Iran on June 20, 1979 with the registration number 396.
Nasir Al Mulk Mosque is one of the most valuable mosques in Iran from the point of view of tiling and is unique from the point of view of construction, especially Mogharnas. Its area is 2890 square meters and its foundation is 2216 square meters. Stained glass is used in this mosque. The mosque has one entrance and the other two entrances are connected to the south alley and the mosque and the shrine next to it. The main entrance of the mosque is made of seven-colored tiles with many decorations of Shiraz iris. This entrance has two piers and each pier is divided into three parts and on top of it there is a painting with seven colored tiles. The entrance is located with a depression.
The courtyard of this mosque is in the shape of a square, in the middle of which a pond with a length and width of 4.5-16.5 meters has been constructed in front of the porch of the mosque, and all around the mosque is decorated with seven-colored tiles. The mosque has two porches, the north porch, which is eight meters high, and the south porch, that has no special use, was created to be symmetrical with the north porch.
The mosque has two naves, one in the west and the other in the east. The eastern nave is a winter nave facing the qibla. Behind this nave is a door that opens into a large well called a well. This part is the place where the draining animal is kept. The western nave is one of the most beautiful naves of mosques in Iran, which was decorated with tiles and bricks with paintings of roses.
The columns of Nasir Al Mulk Mosque is one of the most beautiful columns of Shiraz historical places, which starts with a series of vases. This nave has 6 columns that support the roof with two arches. The cover is of 22 uses. These rows and tiled springs lead to an extraordinarily beautiful altar. The body of this mosque is mainly made of brick, but the architect has brought tiles to avoid the uniformity of the wall. In the western nave, a very beautiful altar has been created by creating a depression in the wooden body of the nave. Nasir Al-Molk Mosque is an architecture of Iran during the Qajar period that shines like a jewel.
